I think I've gone and done it

Forget everything I said in the last few months about buying a GTV V6/Phase 3/147 GTA etc etc

I've just been on the phone to Mangos and I left a deposit for an Alfa GT 2.0 JTS in red with tan leather. I've been hankering over one in that colour combination for ages and the deal that Mangos gave me was just too hard to resist. I've left a deposit and agreed a part ex on my 147....just awaiting a call back to make sure the finance is ok. I just thought 'balls to it you only live once'

If all goes through ok I'll be able to collect it next weekend. Could be sooner but I'm on my own at work at the moment due to holidays and stuff so can't take anytime off

Go Graham Go! I'll keep my fingers crossed for the finance - I know that feeling as I had to wait for mine to be approved too.........longest 30 mins in my life - almost!

And yeah you do only live once!! Doooo iiiiit!

I wish. I did enough of that in my terrible 20's and I'm now on a warning

All is sorted!!! Unfortunately they cannot do weekend collections so will have to take a day off next week to collect...oh well what's a few more days

Sounds great, personally I'd have gone with a V6 for a year or so, as they'll soon be too expensive to drive, then gone for the GT.

The V6 needs to be experienced by everyone at some point in their lives.

Yeah I was very, very tempted to do that but I'd been hankering after a red, 2.0 JTS GT with tan leather for ages so when one came up at such a good price it was too hard to resist. Especially with the good price I was offered as part ex on my 147
