I have finally sold my GT!

After two months of hassle, timewasters, price reductions and general messing around it looks like my GT 3.2 V6 has found a new home.

I have never sold a car before but unfortunately had no choice due to my new Alfa being leased. Its a bloody hassle I never want to repeat and am just so glad that at the end of lease I can just swap my Alfa for another new one. No fuss or bother.

It seems that whether you part ex or sell privately, the problem with Alfa residuals still loom large when you buy new.

Aye! It's why dealers get away with such silly trade-in prices.

v6 3.2 probably isn't the best car to try and sell at the moment, with the petrol prices/road tax the way it is..

Re: I have finally sold my GT!

I don't think it's just Alfa's this is affecting at the moment.

Any car costing over 10k is proving hard to shift, especially those with big engines. (Though GTV's at £7k and under with the big engines still seem to popular, probably due to their lower cost!)

I had difficulty selling my last GT JTD a month or so ago, the credit crunch has really hit home

Glad your sorted.

Don't think its a good time to sell any car with the credit crunch, a lot of people are just sitting tight waiting to see what happens with the economy etc.
