Leather Gaiters........

I bought some leather gaters for thee gearstick and handbrake on my GTV off a company on ebay......... fitted them on Friday, 20 minute job and they look much better than the nasty imitation plastic leather one the Italians fitted in the factory.........

........... Why do they do things like that ???? ............. They fit leather seats, door trims ............ and cheap plastic crap rond the gearstick ???? ......... Yuk !

1998 - imported from Belgium but I don't think that makes a difference. I have seen others and no plastic in sight. Perhaps they tried to save money on the later ones?

Very probably.........anyway I sorted it......and along with changing the rubbish cd player for a Sony......... I'm a happy boy.

My 147,2003 model has an imitation leather gater.Bit of a rip-off considering the seats are leather.
