There is no Alfa 159 GTA!!!! (proof here)

Sorry to have to post this to all those who were hoping of seeing a 159 GTA sometime soon, but it looks like the test car seen in pictures and videos for the past (year?) have nothing to do with a GTA.

The car infact belongs to Autodelta (which is no bad thing). In the article, it mentions how Autodelta tested the car round the Nurburgring, among other places. It has been in development for 18 months:

Assuming the 159 lasts long enough to create a need for a GTA......

Second generation 159 should arrive in 2010

Alfa have said there wont be a 159 gta, there should be one for every car from now on.

Hmm 245 BHP on a front wheel drive car... I think I'd prefer the 3.2 Q4.
