156 lost keys

Help , ive recently bought a 156 on r plate , was only given one key the red master key , and ive lost it Ive phoned alfa dealer in bristol and they want 250 plus vat for new key and re coding .
Any ideas on cheaper options ..

No other options I am afraid.

And there isnt a master key for the 156, so even if you lose the one you have they can order a new key that will fit your locks and then program the car to accept it.
