Interesting. I don't think that'll ever be sold though, I bet his reserve is very high.

Re: Alfa 156 with Brera front....

its a shame, its a good idea, but yes the front is too wide. it would need rear arches of some variety, maybe even brera ones, welding in to balance it.

some people ask "why?" i agree with "why not?" as something like this is far more attractive than a plastic/fibreglass bodykit, doesnt make you look like a chav, and will have more resale value through exclusivity than a bodykitted car does. if you read the auction, the front end needed work anyway, due to it being accident damaged.

if i had the talent to finish that myself, i would have it.

If I were him, I would of finished it. In it's current state not many people want to touch it.

Re: Alfa 156 with Brera front....

i bet its for sale because the owner realised its gonna be one hell of an ugly misbalanced car and they dont want to spend another minute on it. we've all been there, the important thing is to not ignore sanity when it returns.

Re: Alfa 156 with Brera front....

Why?! I could think of many better ways of spending the money!

The designs of the Brera and 156 are so far removed from each other this could never look good as a finished project.......unless it gets a 159 rear end, roof and doors!

The workmanship looks very impressive though, hats off to the chap!

Re: Alfa 156 with Brera front....

I think the 156 is a better looking car than the Brera/159 in the first place.

So IMO it looks awful.

Re: Alfa 156 with Brera front....

It's well done but it doesn't work. The facelift 156 is much nicer. Or a 159 if you prefer that look. But mixing the two... not for me anyway.
