If I had only £4k spare
3.0L V6 24v GTV
I love the look of these cars and for this price and it being a pre-2001 registered car!
This, ladies and gentlemen, are what dreams are made of!

In a 3.0L V6 like Andy's I think I could stomach it!
Anyway, I don't think my car is economical as its trying to make me believe....
Besides, I might 'pull' more in the GTV then the 156...

Re: If I had only £4k spare
Tony, get it and stick a raggazoni exhaust on it. You've heard what they are like. I'm thinking about putting one on the 166. That V6 sound is stunning!

I'd put a whole Raggazini kit on it, have it lowered and a *****ing sound system put in...
This might end up costing more then £4k...

Re: If I had only £4k spare
I like the red leather on Alfa's!! You will have to buy me a chihuahua with a blingy collar to go with your flashy new GTV then Tony!!
That is a seriously nice looking car - I reckon you should buy it Tony!!

Re: If I had only £4k spare
I'd say a good thing, because if I bought a car with an engine which had just been replaced, I'd like to think it'll last a very long time before any major mechanical issues arose again. Also, it'll mean all the belts have been replaced, so no worries about getting them changed. With a car with an old engine, who knows when it'll blow, due to lack of oil or poor maintenance.
