Re: Rarer than an 8C!

Yer another pointless production. Why make only 11 of anything? I just dont see the point in it. I thought 500 was a low number and a travesty to mankind, but 11!!! That's just stupid.

Re: Alfa Romeo Spider Millemiglia

Only two are coming to the UK and you have to be a cloverleaf.co.uk member to buy one. This is what it says on the cloverleaf website;

If you thought a worldwide production run of 500 for the Alfa 8C Competizione qualified its limited-run status, think again. Just 11 – yes, 11 – of these cars will be made, representing the number of Alfa victories in the legendary Mille Miglia, one of the most famous road-races in the world. The first Alfa to win the 'Mille' was a 1928 6C 1500 Sport Spider Zagato and it started a winning tradition that lasted until 1947. More than 50 years on and Alfa is still making its mark on this event, this time in the Historic Mille Miglia re-enactment with wins in 2007 and 2008 for the 6C 1500 S and the 6C 1500 SS respectively.

To celebrate this enviable heritage, each Alfa Spider Mille Miglia is finished in special 8C Competizione Red pearlescent paint, complemented by darkened 19-inch spoke alloy wheels, red brake callipers and, like the racing cars from yesteryear, a Cloverleaf painted on the side of the car. Power is provided by the familiar 260bhp 3.2-litre V6 FWD, complete with the electronic Q2 as standard. Special touches are continued inside, with the luxurious Italian Frau black leather dashboard with red stitching, as well as sports leather steering wheel and gear knob. This exclusive car also includes Sportive dial instruments and Bi-Xenon headlights. Finally, each car sports an individual aluminium plaque, bearing a limited-edition number from 1-11, plus the name of the driver who won that corresponding Mille Miglia race for Alfa.

And yet, it's not as unobtainable as you might think. Thanks to Alfa UK, two of the 11 cars are destined for these shores.

And yet, it's not as unobtainable as you might think. Thanks to Alfa UK, two of the 11 cars are destined for these shores, one will be number 7 and the other will be number 11 – the last off the line. More importantly, only Cloverleaf members will be able to buy them.
