Re: Alfaowner Track Days

I'd be interested, even though I don't have my Alfa any more. I have one question about insurance. My track day cover has a few requirements, such as the availability of instructors on the day. Is that likely or would I need to find an alternative TD insurer for this?

Re: Alfaowner Track Days

Instructors are available to do a tuition (£30 for 20mins I think but varies by track/organiser).

Re: Alfaowner Track Days

if you can't wait for this one why not all group together and have a bash at some being organised via the likes of Javelin? If you fancy airfield days, they are normally cheaper and are great fun. All car types and drivers welcome.

I'm interested, even if it's to finally shame some of those diesel haters...

I need to book any time off work early though, especially as it may be mid-week....

The reason for doing it mid-week is that we all often have family commitments which can be difficult to get out of but a day mid week with good notice would mean booking a day off work. It will also be cheaper.

Re: Alfaowner Track Days

I did the MSE day at Abingdon last week and can thoroughly recommend it. The airfield is safe, the organisation and driving standards were excellent. Cheap too at £119 for the day + £50 for an hour's instruction.
