Only once it's warmed up then it makes me smile big time, I drive like a geriatric until then and it's not fun at all..needs must though.

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
All my cars make me smile...
V6 75... sounds great and you just feel apart of it
scoob... sounds great and bloody fast hence g-force grin
Fiero ...sounds great and just a blast sideways
smart... no sound but still fun trying to predict the gear change

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
Is it a jealousy thing with non Alfa owners? Us Alfa folk know the pitfalls of ownership but were prepared to take the plunge anyway, in spite of the knockers.
I feel the Alfa marque is looked down upon, certainly by German car drivers. In company car days I have had Bee Emm, Merc, Audi, but can honestly say I have never been as passionate about anything more than Alfa.
This too goes for my old 166 which I thought was a very underated car and stunningly good looking, although perhaps an acquired taste.
Thanks for the kind words about the wagon guys.

I love my 145 and it makes me smile every time i floor it. the noise, the feel. it is brilliant. It actually makes me smile more than it makes me cry and that is saying something.

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
Mine makes me smile so much that I'm thinking of buying mirrored doors for my garage!
But nothing pervy, of course. Mirrored ceiling tiles in the garage WOULD be going too far....probably.

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
My Alfa makes me smile when I look at it, and I enjoy telling people I drive an Alfa too.
But it's not lairy enough to make me really smile when I drive it. A car HAS to be RWD to do that properly

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
Oh does it just.
Leaving work this evening I was walking with a colleague to the car park. He spotted my Black 156 JTS and said "Niiiiiiiiiiice pair of wheels mate - pristine!".
Made me feel the car just rolled off the production line!
Fired it up, stormed past the barrier gate, swung a sharp left, accelerator, Cue familiar Alfa engine rasp which blasted me all the way home. Again.
Smile intact all the way.
