Thanks, I probably wouldn't have come up with that had I not driven 140 miles in the GTA today.
I was also the only one that drove in, everyone else booked a hotel room in Bracknell. Did I care that I was 20 minutes late as a result of getting stuck in rush hour traffic on the M25... Nah!

Lmao I bet you even enjoyed the traffic I did all crappy Irish back roads and didn't feel any bit tired from it.

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
I have to agree with everyone's comments, I look around when I've parked up, I go out of my way so I can see her, I make excuses to drive her.
I don't want to sound odd, but I get a bit upset when people don't notice or appreciate her. When I first took her to work, I took a couple of my colleagues out, and they said it was nice, but have never commented again ...is that a bit over the top ? Am I wrong to expect people to appreciate her as much as I do ?

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
thank god , i was starting to think i was weird , well my missus is sure i am. I always volunteer to fetch the paper, chocolate or anything from local shop , which is a 5 minute walk at the most , but does it take me 5 minutes.............does it buggery , about 30 minutes is the average time. Everytime i cruise at about 30mph in 2nd , then floor it , there is no better feeling that the V6 engine note gives you. You can keep your V8 engines , nothing gives me more pleasure than my Alfa , hmmmmmmmmmm , nope nothing , and if my missus reads this i've had it.
Currently my baby is at the garage having a new Radiator , and i am missing her like crazy. I was gutted today when i phoned them and they said the part hadnt arrived and i will have to wait till tomorrow , how the hell am i gonna sleep tonight knowing she is parked in a dirty old garage partly stripped down.

At 10,000 rpm , no one can hear you scream.

Re: Does your Alfa make you smile
Yes when I have not driven her for a bit I worry about depreciation, unreliability, cam belts and various other bits and bobs.
However when I get home and open the garage door all is forgotten.
I too always have to look back when walking away-sad but true.

Clean Alfa + Windows, sunroof open = Big smile
