I Agree With The Fact That The "once" Originals Were "pure" Cars With Rwd, No Ecu's, Cats Etc But That Was Another Era.times Have Changed & We Must Move With The Times.
Ar Need To Hit At The Pocket Hatchbacks & The Gti Brigade.
I Love The Sound Of A Pure Twincam Or Ar V6 But These Small Turbo Motors Churn Out V6 3.2 Type Power With A Low Mass.

There Will Be Larger Engined Gta Versions I Hope But If The Mito Gta Makes It Into Production It Will Be A Good Thing For All Of Us Alfisti.

Re: GTA Mito?

What's great about it is that De Meo (Alfa chief) said that from 80kmh to 120kmh, the MiTo GTA will be able to race the 8C

Re: ALFA ROMEO MiTo GTA

Yeah, 230 bhp turbo 4-pot. t's going to be labelled 1750 in recognition of the old GTV. Power/weight will be ridiculous. It'll blow everything else out of the water!

Martinelli, the chief engineer (who also designed all Shumacher's F1 engines) said that from 80-120kph it'll keep up with an 8C!!!

It seems a shame if Alfa were to limit the engine to the mighty MiTo, so why not drop it in the GT / 159 / 149

Re: ALFA ROMEO MiTo GTA

sounds promising, how cool would it be for alfa to have a car that would blow hot clios, corsas, minis etc into the weeds?

They will end up in the other models as well. The GM based four cylinder JTS engine will be followed up by the Fiat based turbo engines. The 1.8 Turbo will replace the 2.2 JTS for instance, but won't have 230 bhp.
