147 jtd oil leaks help !

Hi all,
shame to start alfa ownership on a downer but if i can cure these faults the rest of the car is great !,car is a 147 jtd 8v, anyway there is oil around the drivers wheel/floorpan/lower arm, i thought it was the crank oil seal but the timing belt is dry so maybe not?.
second oil problem is oil dripping from the intercooler, tracing back it seems to be going in before the turbo, from the breather pipe, could it be something wrong in the rocker cover like a baffle plate loose? the car drives fine, boosts good and doesnt seem to smoke from the exhaust, any suggestions please folks.

Pretty sure the 8v has an oil cooler like the 16v just infront of the drivers wheel. They are prone to leaking. As for oil in the intercooler this is normal. The JTD breaths rather hard. Clean it up as best you can and tighten the clips but it will just come back. I asked this when I fist got mine but was told it was normal.

Thanks for that, maybe a change of oil and has anyone fitted an oil catch tank on the jtd?.
Apparantly the oil near the R/H front wheel is left over from a recently fixed pas leak, they never cleaned it off.

Yep the PS pipes do run down there too. I'm not aware of anyone fitting one but if any would do then either Yanko,Tribesman or JS_JTD would be the ones to discuss it with as they have done some awesome mods to their JTD's. I can confirm JS's kit it good too as I have a fair amount of it fitted to my JTD 16v
