2.2jts hesitation

Just bought spider 2.2jts italia independent from Mangoletsi. Very pleased with car but struggling with hesitation when setting off. Mangoletsi say this is known to alfa Romeo and is a characteristic of the car and they will not sort for free. They offer Mod 4 as a solution but at a cost. Is this stance true? Ie have alfa refused to sort this? Has anyone tried the mod 4 and if so does it sort the issue? Are there other solutions out there other than mod 4?

The issue with the 2.2JTS has been covered in many threads in the 159/Brera section.

As for Mango's "mods", I wouldn't touch them.
