gtv v6 rattle on start up

When cold engine sounds like a diesel until warmed up,any ideas what the cause is?

Maybe a sticky hydraulic lifter. Mine did it once when the engine had been left for a while. The lifter freed its self up after the engine warmed up and it didn't happen again.
