Chilling calling 2.4 jtd 10 valve owners who want silicone turbo hoses

Hello jtd drivers. I am disappointed to find noone who can supply replacement turbo hoses that fit the prefacelift turbo. If anyone has a source for these that i have missed, please let me know. BUT! If there is noone out there, i propose to find approx. 20 guys who would be interested enough to sign up to enable limited production to start. Two firms are interested (names available ).Don't know about you, but i am fed up replacing split pipes on my two 'wagons. Or would someone supply hardpipes instead? Sound interesting? Be gentle! New to forum! Thanks, captainboogaloo

I thought about it on mine, but replaced the turbo to intercooler with a piece of steel piping. I simply cut a section of the rubber piping out and replaced it with the steel piping, some silicone sealant and jubilee clips ! Not 100% happy as I would like a silicon for the end pieces.

I have asked SILICONHOSES.COM in Gloucester already and if an order of 20 could be made they will produce a pipe.
Not sure who you have asked but I have used their stuff before and its a nice product. I also use their sister companies stainless brake lines on my GTV and 156

Hello guys, thanks for replying. Must admit thinking hardpipe might be a better way to go, with silicons joiners- think i might combine this with upgrading the airfilter. Do you run the standard filter or have you uprated this part? Regards captainboogaloo

It doesn't fit the 10v, far too long. You could cut a section out of the middle & join the 2 halves with a piece of steel pipe but it kind of defeats the object.

What you really want is one of these, fitted this to my 10v the other night and it now goes better and sounds totally evil

That's heavy duty!!

I'll bet it costs a bit more than a £60 hose !!

Didn't cost me a whole lot more as luckily I found one second hand

Its was built buy these Dutch tuners:

JS-Tuning.nl

Its a GT JTD version on mine but it still fits, had to remove the foglights and trim quite a lot off the back of the front bumper.
