2.0 JTS power

Afternoon chaps.

While reading the 2.2 hesitation thread, I picked up the following website:

Powertrain Performance Graph for Alfa Romeo 156 JTS -02 (122 kW)

This seems to show the 2.0 JTS engine's BHP at around what Alfa state at 164. Having looked at the readings for the GTA they are spot on also at 250.

We have seen the threads where the red dot's (amongst others) readings were way down at around 140 for the 2.0 JTS engines.

Any ideas on why the differences in readings? One thing I don't know is whether the JTS is standard.

Just actually read the website - stated performance is as stated by Alfa!

But the 'Powertrain performance' is measured by Rototest at the wheels (or hubs) and they give 141 or a loss of 14% which is about right.

It isn't that good. My car isn't on there.

Also all cars seem to be under power, is it possible that the dyno is reading low? As I know that they do vary.

I just noticed I was reading it wrong. I was thinking the figures were low but then i realised it was measured at the wheels.

It doesn't list any lancias either. The 1994 kappa has the same engine as my coupe.

Where is NAD?

You can always pop down for a spin in a straight 5 turbo if you like.

Not sure bud. But from the pics of last year where thinking of coming over

I've been in a standard Coupe before was quick I'd say yours is as fast if not quicker.
