I wait with great anticipation.
Tony, have you heard anything else? *bump*

I heard nothing more, but they said it would be a couple of months. I will try to contact them again to see what action they have taken so far.

Has anybody else heard from ALfa UK?

re: 2.2JTS Hesitancy Issue - Now with IMPORTANT INFORMATION

I had a call form ARUK (after writing to them numerous times), the chap was very apologetic. They have received many complaints. The problem has been escalated to UK and Italy design offices. Will take time to assess the fix against various UK and European compliances. Hopefully, something will come out in the near future (a few months). And yea, the warranty will be invalidated by a 3rd party fix.
Lets see..........

OK, voted Yes as it's very evident on the '07 2.2 Spider loaner we have right now. Will vote again when 'ours' arrives and we see what that's like.

Thought I'd add my 2penn'orth. As I work as a det for alfa/fiat I come across these problems. Though in this case the dealers are currently unable to offer a solution it is important that any of you suffering take your vehicle to your dealer. Insist that the vehicle is road tested with a technician or preferably the dealer DET so you can demonstrate the problem. Ask the dealer to submit a product report to alfa Uk (and ask for a copy as proof they have done it!). The more product reports that alfa uk receive the greater the chance that italy will respond with a fix.

I've had my car 2 1/2 years. If they've not fixed it by
now do you really think they will ever bother with an
engine that is up for replacement next year?

If they couldn't be bother to fix it before going into production they never will. IMHO.

Picked up my 2.2 Brera S last week and have not found any problems with hesitation, maybe they have fixed it on newer engines!

You must have a "duff" one, because according to AR
they are "meant" to drive like that. It's a feature.

Do you think that I should complain to the dealer?
