How many miles to a full tank??

Morning All,

Ok ok before anyone says it I know this is a bit of a dumb question as we all drive differently and the road/routes we drive will differ too.

But anyway

How many miles did you get to your last full tank??? I would be very intrested in any 2.2 owners comments as I am with any luck getting one

Thanks in advanced

Re: How many miles to a full tank??

460 (740km) the last time I had a full tank, 95% motorway and 5% city.

About 280 (450km) when 100% city.

Tuned 147 1.6 TS.

Re: How many miles to a full tank??

I reckon 1,000 miles is technically feasible from 60 litres of diesel on the 147 Mjet.

Re: How many miles to a full tank??

I got 602miles from my 65 litre tank in my 1.9JTD 156. Most of that was the 15 mile drive in and 15 mile drive out of work 5 days a week with a bit of Motorway miles to meet a few Alfa drivers

Re: How many miles to a full tank??

I have had 650 miles from my old 1.9JtDm 159, the 2.4 hasnt yet got much over 500, but doesnt get the long runs with just the driver that the 1.9 done.

The 2 litre 147 is lucky to do 250 miles!

Re: How many miles to a full tank??

I got 580 miles from my 147 1.9 JTD 16v, 40% motorway/A-road, 40% B-road, 20 % round town, 60 litre tank (see attached pic of trip computer saying ave mpg 60.0, but I dont think trip comp readouts are 100% accurate, just a guide)

Re: How many miles to a full tank??

Took this today on my trip into work, only 15 miles but mostly through the city centre (at 5:30am)

At this rate I'd get 941miles per tank

Re: How many miles to a full tank??

on my run to work, 40 miles about 50% a roads, 40% mway 10% city, I get about 360ish

In city driving I get about *cough* 280 miles *cough*

Driving style does not seem to make much difference, it more depends on the type of roads. However at speeds of 85ish plus it DRINKS!
