Re: AO Lincolnshire Members

Hi Mark...

Might have seen your car, I've noticed a Silver V6 GTV around town, seen it twice on Yarborough Road as I walk to work... The only reason I noticed it is because 1. obviously, its a Alfa and 2. its the same as mine, visually, mines a 2.0TS though.

James.

Re: AO Lincolnshire Members

Perhaps we could have a meet up around Lincoln at some point as most of you live around Lincoln and maybe at Rutland Water as well. Just a couple of ideas

Morning Mark, how are you ?

Yes, it's a nice darkish green, admittedly not one of the preferred colours but it actually does look pretty good. When I bought it off eBay I hadn't seen it in the flesh and was prepared to be disappointed but when I saw it driven into the station forecourt at Ipswich railway station by the previous owner I was pretty much sold on it. I did actually want a red one but this car, after months of searching, fitted the bill in every respect except the colour. I like it though and everyone else says they do, they reckon it's British Racing Green, on an Alfa ! Far from me to disillusion them !

Here's a pic taken in your neck of the woods yesterday.

Cheers

Hi Mark, glad to hear that all is well. Didn't know you worked so close by, I'm just down the road in Wyberton, if you ever fancy a coffee.......

Could have been me yesterday, I was heading for Boardsides about that time en route to Coningsby, Tattershall and Methringham. Have to say I couldn't say what was behind me, unusual for me as I'm pretty much switched on most of the time, my excuse is that my passenger had just started a discussion about the name of the Chain Bridge having just been stuck by the name plate for a minute or so !

Cheers for now.

But why doesn't anyone wave at me here?

Hope you've in settled and enjoying the delights of Lincolnshire ! If it's any consolation no one waves at me either, had so many strange looks I no longer bother !

Hi guys and thanks for the welcome!

I'm in a red (is there any other colour? ) LHD 159 SW - I'll expect lots of waving and excitment if you see me. It'll get swapped for a hire car in a week or so, then my ti will eventually arrive. Now, then I will expect some waves

Settling in well - wifey is unpacking and I'm at work
