Re: Introduce yourself.

Hi chaps......I'm Rich (by name only) and live in Derby.
Reached the big 40 last December...married with a couple of teenage kids.
This is my first ever alfa....liked the look of them for years..but never took the plunge until now.
My previous cars....Mazda RX8 , Seat leon Cupra Vectra.. Rover 214si... ....Escort 1.3L... ...Fiesta XR2 ...Escort 1.6L.. and first car mini clubman 1100

Although i've bought a diesel and to some extent am missing the initial accelleration of the RX8...it is a very pleasing drive and looks great imo.

Love this site....it's so addictive....

Re: Introduce yourself.

Hi all!

My name's Mark, and I'm an addict.

Oops wrong club err..

I mean I'm addicted to my 1st Alfa. Just bought a brand new 159 JTDm 2.4 Q4 Sportwagon, and I'm lovin' it. Carbonio Black with Cream Leather interior, Rear spoiler so the twin exhausts have the perfect frame, 18" 5 spoke alloys - it looks fookin gorgeous, specially to all the Audi/Beamer/Merc salesmen watching that backside disappear in front of them whilst they're thinking "why did I buy this when I could have had one of those?????"

I live in Chesterfield, but am a West Brom Season Ticket holder (for my sins) so I'm regularly up and down the A38 - look for my plate - Y666 WBA Will put a pic up as soon as I've got one that does it the justice required.

Would be great to meet some of you at some point - even if just to stand, point and say oooooooh! at all the Alfa's.

Cheers Craigyp......when i was looking to change the mazda for financial reasons the there was nothing else I fancied other than the alfa GT....oh...apart from the Brera.....but like i said money matters etc....I'm really pleased with the GT...it's a different drive but still brings plenty of smiles to me....
