East Midlands Region Rep

Hi there to all you lads and lasses in the EM lounge.

I've just taken over as the New Region support for AO.

We're looking for a new Region Rep for the EM Region, there are plenty of posters from the EM in here so who's up for having a go at promoting your Region and organising some meets.

You can rest assured that the successfull applicant will have me to help coach and assist in any way possible

I ran the NW Region for over a year and we started with just 5 regulars so I know how we can get the EM to being a lively and enjoyable place

You're gonna miss some top meets when we get a new Rep for the EM

No, I can miss some top meets in another region

But you won't you can't resist a meet

There has to be one in order to be able to miss it

There will be when I get a Rep sorted

I would say im intrested but i asked months ago about if it was ok to organise a meet in nottingham and never heard any thing back.

We didn't have a Regional support function then TNM

Can it be a Nottingham / Derby rep?

I think this has been brought up before.
I know it used to be the midlands then east midlands but its still a big area.

There is already a meet in Leciestershire but there is a lot of people on the border of Notts and Derby

This is a problem. The borderlands are in between South Scotland and the North West and the North East. Most of the meets are too far away. I don't know how much interest there would be in a Borders region as well?
