ARCA @ Cadwell Park 12th April: 12-04-08

check out the link, date was in this months aroc mag as being on SUNDAY 13th april always thought it strange that cadwell were having a car meeting on a saturday, never seen that before, hopefully it is 100% on the sunday

confused myself now , it's in the aroc mag as an alfa meet but the website has no mention of alfa's think i will ring them on monday morning to find out for sure

yep, fair enough, just me getting confused (and aroc magazine ) plenty of evidence pointing towards a saturday date save a couple of quid and use this link

Just to clarify, there are two car meetings that weekend, BRSCC on the Saturday, HSCC on the Sunday; ARCA races with BRSCC. Car races at Cadwell on Saturdays aren't all that unusual.

The dates in the AROC mag aren't, I think, necessarily Alfa-related - they seem to list a lot of BARC & HSCC meetings, probably because these are the clubs who've sent them their dates...maybe ARCA race dates could be listed!

I'll be there that weekend - marshalling!

thanks for clearing that up thoguht cadwell just used saturday's for the bikes maybe it's all changed since jonathan palmer got hold of it haven't really been regularly for a good few years

The time is nearing closer, so what cars are people arriving in?

So for easy spotting:

I'll be in the Sprint (red) if it's a good day, last three letters of reg: PBJ

If it rains I'll be in the 147 (red), last three letters of reg: KKT

I will check on the Monday beforehand to make sure it's on.

The first qualifying session, which are the Alfa's, start at 9:00am so I'll be there for about 8:50

nice link, on the club circuit i notice where is everyone watching from opposite the mountain is my fav place on the full circuit, but the club track charlies? hairpin? mansfield?
also noticed that tim lewis isn't entered in the awesome sprint maybe he will be a late entry, or does anyone know if he is racing this year
i am going to aim to get there early (8ish) to have a look around the paddock in good time to watch qualifying . will be in the silver punto though, not an alfa

It's not on the club circuit it's on the full circuit.

It's just that map on the final instructions shows the club circuit in red so it makes it look like it's on that.

AA Maps are saying roughly 1hr 37min, 63 miles
