I really did go on holiday....

I've been back for over a week now and, for the first time in my life, it has taken my brain that amount of time to join me - it was still wandering the fjords of Norway.

No 'photo can do justice but here are three anyway.


If you ever get a chance go North - Scandinavia in general and Norway in particular are superb.

It was great - one of the truly magnificent things was that it is so vast.

Totally agree with you Paul,Norway is fantastic,my brother-in-law was head chef at the British Embassy in Oslo so we spent many a holiday in Oslo,staying at the embassy and also in cabins up in the mountains,winter holidays were especially enjoyable as my boys and i love sledging and Norwegian sledges are brilliant

Yep V - Liz and I hadn't realised quite how drained our batteries had become.

Sometimes it really does pay to step back and just wonder at what you see - ho hum.
