Anyone fancy a run from Cromer to Hunstanton on 18 May (Sunday)?

This is a favourite road of mine - Liz and I stay in Blakeney or Cley a couple of times a year. Unfortunately I will be away on holiday then.

SO - why organise an event when I am away I hear you ask?

Well AROC are organising this and have invited AO members along, again (see Snetterton thread) a whole bunch of Alfas together cannot be a bad thing. I have a whole bunch of flyers to dish out and, who knows, we may get some new members.

Paul.

I'll be there! Lissa and I often have a trip along that road, with it being so close to us. May be a bit tight going through Stiffkey and Cley with a load of Alfas though!

I'll be along, here's hoping for a lack of rain at the least.

I'll be there, hopefully there will be several of us.

As I live in Sheringham and work in Wells, can't see how I can logically not join in for at least part of this! Will have to get my missus to look after the office though (I normally work Sundays!) so could be very costly.... All in place to be there ...

Not sure if I can make the whole run but will at least meet up with the rest at Hunstanton.

I am part of the EA division and I am tempted!

Once again, it depends on the weather.

Definitely. Great fun.

Next time could try it the other way around, set of at Hunny, with a detour down into Sheringham and back out, finishing with a blast round the Cromer one-way system and into that car park we started in on Sunday.

Re: Hunstanton 18 May

I'm back from the frozen North - a two week trip from Stockholm up through the Arctic Circle and down to Oslo stopping on the way. Magnificent.

I am sorry I missed this event though - you all sounded like you had a good time and I WILL be there next time.

Thanks again to Clare.

Paul.

Re: Hunstanton 18 May

Sounds like a great trip Paul, glad it went well. Any photos?
Regarding last week's run, not as spectacular as Scandinavia but still good fun. Great weather too. Lucky it wasn't this weekend as apart from the grotty weather there's a national caravan rally at Holkham with 3000+ caravan and camper vans on the Norfolk roads!

Re: Hunstanton 18 May

Look forward to seeing them. Have been to Sweden but not Norway although it's definitely on the wish list.
