As an engineering view I like it, they have grown on me though

But you do like the mk2 RS which I am not keen on, would have to own one in blue or green for me though if you we're holding a 9mm to my head

^ what he said.

Very capable on and off road in the right specs, beautifully built, exceptional dynamics for an SUV but deeply uncool.

It took me longer to click on the button than it did to decide it was seriously uncool.

Horrid, vulgar, hideous, crass.

One of the easier polls lately.

I live close to, and work in, Essex. In my world Range Rover sports fill that niche (not that i overly mind them either).

I voted cool. Why not?

Too smart for muddy off roading. Too big to be practical on the public highway (just watch them in a car park). Ideal for the school run for the people with more money than style.

seriously uncool

Yes they are very very very very cool...

We picked our's up in March this year and i cant fault the car one bit!

And we are getting 30mpg (diesel) for city driving which is pretty good for a car of this size!

Sorry to rain on your parade but it genuinely, categorically isn't. The vote backs up that view.

You buying and loving it is nice for you, as is the commendable economy. And it's a big Porsche - what's not to like? I appreciate it can't be nice having total strangers saying your expensive new car is anything but cool.

It's just the Cayenne is the equivalent a big, fat, middle-aged fella in expensive designer racksuit, spanking new, clean running shoes and Ray-Bans thinking he must look so cool but not seeing himself from the outside.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Ti experience: Months- 55; Miles- 71k;MPG (best)- 49.4; (overall)- 40.2; Front tyres shot - 16k (Conti's); 14k (Pirellis), 23k (Acceleras) Rears -30k,35k. Hunter Alignment done 30.6k (recommended). Front discs, pads, and lower n/s drop link @ 60k, Battery sudden death 62k/47mths; Steering reservoir fix £60; Wiper arm fixed £0; Cambelt/water pump & n/s upper ball joint done 70k

6/9/12 New Mito 135MA Distinctive added to the family
