As a commercial product, totally uncool. As Radosuaf says, taking the engineering into account it scrapes uncool.
Then again, if i had the money would i get one and put two fingers up at all of us humbugging it? Probably.

I'd rather spend my money on 8C and Maser GT. Plus a QP for daily driving. Would cost me less than this, I guess.

As a Supercar or Hypercar it shouldn't really be cool but it is. It is because of what it represents which is a two fingered salute to enviromentalism.
All that said I wouldn't buy one even if I had the money (which makes it even cooler) there are nicer looking cars for a bit less money IMO.

Supercars aren't cool. That one is desperately uncool. It ****ing ugly for a kick off.
If you are happy with not being cool and need a supercar, get an F40 or a 288GTO and stop being a pussy. No retractable wings, no traction control, no quilted leather. Jusr power and lightness.

I admire it as an engineering product,but that's as far as it goes.The looks do nothing for me (squashed VW Beetle anyone?),and I definitely don't 'lust' after one.....

Saw one in polished mirror finish around the same time I saw the McLaren MP4-12C in the flesh and, whilst imposing and impressive, it was butt ugly in comparison with the McLaren and based on it's looks I can't see KST being remotely interested. Maybe if you were dating James May...

Uncool.
It is impressive, of course, and hyper-expensive, natch, but this was just VW bosses wanting to flex their engineering muscle rather than wanting to create something delightful. It is almost a marketing exercise. It is certainly butt-ugly and all hyper-cars start with the premise that they are fundamentally more uncool than most so they have to work harder to be cool.
Hence, uncool - and I'm being generous at that.
