Covini C6W

An Italian sports coupé with a very distinctive characteristic. It's immediately apparent as soon as you see it. The idea is that having 4 front wheels helps with steering, stability and braking while also reducing the chance of aquaplaning.

Edit: This is a real car, Photoshop has nothing to do with it. I added this note because, understandably, some people were getting confused with it. Even I had to do a double take the first time I saw this car.

Engine: Audi 90º V8
Displacement: 4,200 cc
Aspiration: Natural
Power: 440 PS (325 kW) @ 6,400 rpm
Torque: 347 lb·ft @ 2,700 rpm
Configuration: Mid-engined, rear-wheel drive
Weight: 1,150 kilo (2,535.3 lbs)
Top speed: 185 mph (300 km/h)

Sorry Ant, did not intend to show you up, it was just that the Tyrell was so iconic of the 6 wheel cul-de-sac.

Is it for real? I mean I really did double-take.

Stupid, ugly and pointless.Like a cast off from a cheap TV Sci Fi prog. Only slightly more believable than the cack that was Nick Straker's car in Space 1999!

Uncool in extremis.

Uncool, the only reason why I dont think its seriously uncool is that it has 6 wheels, so it gets a extra mark for being different.

Quite the opposite, I'm glad you posted it as your information rounded up the poll.

Not enough engine. It needs a V16 with 6 turbos and 1500BHP at the very least.

2 produced; 1 for sale now apparently....

Despite the extra two wheels, something else about it is just disturbing.

Salute, Giordano.
