Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

It's fast. Very fast. It also goes around corners like a true supercar and laps the Nürburgring in 7:26.4. This is the new definition of American Muscle.

Desperately pitifully uncool, especially if you own one in the UK. You will look like a complete **** everywhere you go in your tight jeans and cowboy boots.

Oh and I'd love one.

A American sports car that looks good and handles well plus much cheaper than any European equivalent. Must be cool, if it wasn't American it would go sub cool but it's only cool.

A man of taste. 78-82 would be the last of the C3s with the sticky out Jimmy Hill chin spoiler?

The spoiler at the front changed a bit from 78 t0 1980 and then got JH chin, but worse it got the big back window instead of the "suger scoop" small window that mine had

Glad someone thinks I have taste...its been questioned more than once lol, but I guess you knew how I'd vote on a Vette

Great fun for sure and desirable in a guilty-pleasure way but not even remotely adjacent to cool.

Now forgive me for not knowing the exact model number or year but the mid 60's one with the split rear windows really is cool.

Saddo alert that'd be a 1963 Sting Ray, 4 spd manual, 3.7.1 posi axle
0-60 in 5.6
quarter mile in 14.1 @ 102
V max 151
360bhp @ 6000 rpm
352 ft lbs torque @ 4000rpm

Not bad for 47 years ago

Oh and drum brakes
And crossply tyres

I'm not sure I'd fancy driving it in anger on anything riskier than Gran Turismo but it's a genuinely car now.
