We're staying in England for this poll. A "small" Aston Martin is featured on this occasion.

Engine: 4.3L V8
Power: 380 hp @ 7,000 rpm
Torque: 302 lb·ft @ 5,000 rpm
Acceleration from 0-62 mph: 4.8 seconds
Top speed: 175 mph

Slower, heavier and doesn't handle as well as its rivals.

But it is waaaay cooler than any of them.

Abso-bloody-lutely gorgeous - there's one that shares the drive to/from work with me and the sound as it reverbs off the hillside is amazing - even make my Spider look ordinary.

Frost-bitingly, heart-achingly sub zero in a way that Ferraris, Bentleys, Zondas and Lambos can only dream of.

It is an Aston. A proper genteleman's sports carriage for those who are too cool to worry about stats and do not need a bright red hue to be noticed.

I see more Astons than I do Alfa GTV's, Fiat Coupe's, and ferrari's put together.

OK maybe not many are the Vantage version I will admit.


There are far more Porsches than Astons around here though.

@Symon - They make them fairly near to you and test them up and down the M40 and surrounding roads an awful lot which might explain it.

That may explain it. Most of the ones I see are around Oxford.
