Really, really, really don't like it.
I'd honestly have my 156 over that.

Re: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
super cool. took the rule book and tore it to pieces. engineering masterpiece and although everyone has their own opinions i think its actually very good looking.
the only car i would have over that (if i had the money obviously) is a McLaren F1 cos it took VW 13 years to beat its top speed, its british and its even more striking than the Veyron

Serious performance, and and engineering marvel - but it doesn't look as good as an Enzo

I would have the Mclaren F1 over the Veyron, but to be fair, they are different cars, Mclaren is Very Raw

on the other hand, if you could afford one you could more than likely afford the other, so get both. winner!

Re: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
I have to agree with it being an engineering masterpiece - it achieved exactly what it wanted to, and that does it for me. Totally pointless in real life, but that single-mindedness makes it subzero for me (£4,500 for a machined indicator stalk, wasn't it?!).
£800k for a £5m car - a bargain too.
And very likely the last hypercar we'll see, as Snokio says...although the Barabus TKR (ugly as sin) has had a half-hearted pop.
The Bugatti name (just the name, I know) makes it more so - I can spend too much time ogling pictures of Type 35s on the web .
Now: Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 JTS Lusso, 2004 Vela Blue, Grey leather
Then: Alfa Romeo GTV V6 3.0 Lusso, 2001 Vela Blue, Tan leather

Re: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
Not many supercars get to be cool.
Very few are sub-zero.
This one really is.
Strangely attractive in a comic book way too.

Re: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
I really don't know.
It's ugly.
It's an animal.
It's so unPC that it's
It's an achievement.
It's not the car I'd have if money no object.
I'd have to pick all of the options in the pool.
And I miss the "Other" option...
Not voted.

Serious performance, equally seriously uncool and ugly in equal proportions.
Hate it.
In retrospect, hideous.

Re: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
I've been thinking about what I really feel for this car since it was chosen by the randomizer.
After reading the specs and how the car was created you can't help but letting your jaw hit the floor and bounce for a couple of meters. It boggles the mind, it's an outstanding achievement, certainly a great leap forward in automotive engineering. It does things that on paper seem almost impossible, looks like a spaceship (and it's almost as fast) and you can't help but wonder when you think about it.
It seems to be Sub Zero, in fact, judging by that, it should be.
But no matter how much I admire it from a mechanical standpoint, it doesn't stir my soul.
Why?? Because I don't think it has one. It makes you feel rich, lucky, and maybe even important. But it doesn't make you feel special.

Re: Bugatti Veyron 16.4
I think I know why. It's not flawed. It's too perfect for it's own good. Almost aseptic.
Created with the mind, not with the heart.
But, it's definetly cool.

I would feel very special in one of those. You would have to be rich to own one in the first place so feeling rich is gonna happen, you would need to be relatively lucky to own one too but i dont think it would make you feel important.

Its a science project. A bunch of guys (and maybe gals) got together to make the perfect, fastest, most incredible car ever and succeeded. To hold that against it is to take away everything that it is.
Its not the best looking car in the world, but asthetics come last to the engineering marvel of whats underneath its skin. Admire it boys, nothing else will ever surpass it.
