This is a hard one. I think it falls between, so could go either way.

I think it has to be just on the uncool side on the grounds that it is just a sodding great engine in a passably OK looking sportscar with a fairly dodgey (geddit? ) interior.

That it is more likely to appeal to gentlemen sporting copious hair of the chest variety, bling jewellry and quite probably a large medallion is another factor.

When it first came out, I thought it was cool.
In fact, when someone had a thread about it a couple of months ago, I still remembered it as cool. But having seen more pictures in that thread - I don't any more.
I think it's a bit of a lie. Not a sportscar. Not cool.

The engine is cooler in the Ram. And I hate pickups generally.

It is cool, not least of which because I understand that it burns unsuspecting peoples legs when getting in/out due to the exhaust being routed right alongside the door sill.

I went to Bruntingthorpe on a fund raising day. You paid a fiver for two laps shotgun in a car of your choice. I seem to remember the Viper being most popular.It must have something going for it as far as motoring fans go. I voted sub zero.
