Quick Tip: Removing polish from plastics

Not the smooth peanut-butter jobby (does that actually work?) but one unexpected one which I found on Autoglym's website.

The answer is autoglym's 'Fast Glass', tried it myself and worked

, not sure if it will work on all plastics / polishes (they refer to SRP), so it is at your own risk yada yada yada...

Autoglym - car cleaning products, car care products, car valeting, car detailing

Sorry if this is 'common knowledge'

Or people could just use common sense and tape off the trims to avoid polishing marks lol.

Its a whole lot easier you know.

And yes peanut butter has been used a few times on the black plastics.

So does that mean the taping off trims didnt work for you

Try the Dodo Juice range. They do not stain rubber.
