Looky Looky Just ordered a non-Autoglym product

Poorboys World Black Hole

Supposed to be excellent on Red & Black cars and tops off easily with a decent wax like my HD

Will use the Megs DA to put it on so should get cracking results in double quick time

Need to get Mrs GTleigh's Etna Black MiTo sorted for an AI photoshoot too

Cheers,

Personally I don't rate HD (gave mine away) I prefer Collinite....not sure what poorboys gear is like.
Edit : Am now using Meguiars Gold instead of SRP and am very happy with it.

I don't rate Autoglym either.

I have had far better results with Turtle wax, and that isn't exactly top of the range. The Platinum wax is really good for the price.

Blackhole is a cracking glaze and TBH works as well on light coloured cars as it does reds and blacks etc to boot

Welcome to the world outside of Autoglym Simon

Believe it or not, the company is based 20 minutes away from me, and have used their products for a long time, some of their stuff is good, such as their polishes and 'fast glass', not done detailing yet, but there are better products out there to make life easier :flirt:

HD is excellent, better than Collenite & the Dodo stuff I've tried

SRP is great, EGP is cracking as so easy to use.

Buy in trade as Liquid Hard Wax along with the single best innovation in detailing, Aquawax (express in trade form).

Buying this stuff as being lazy

May get some of the reformulated trade Radiant Wax soon too

Can you expand on "express" SR? I have only found aquawax as a kit and I really liked the product and want some more before the winter sets in.

There's plenty of other spray sealants out there too SR.

I like HD wax but have recently changed to colly 476, I find the two to be quite similar tbh.

Thats the stuff
I found AG HD too difficult to remove easily and with mixed results on my cars.

How do you find the Megs DA?

I have one on the way and have bottles of 105 and 205 compounds (this will be post respray cutting).

Agreed. I used R222 for a bit. It gives great visual results but does not protect very well or last very long. I have used Collinite and then put R222 over it and it looks fantastic!

Poorboys Natty Blue wax is my favourite. It's aboot £13 a pot, so maybe slightly unfashionable.. but it goes on really easily, comes off really easily (very little powder), lasts for ages and smells of bubble-gum

PB also have a glaze for lighter coloured cars.. White Diamond. It's the same stuff but cream coloured, rather than purple.

I have some PB white diamond for my Silver Beemer.

It is ok, but I wouldn't rave about it.
