The story must be told...

I just got this cool new app for the iPhone, Timelapse Pro, so to test it out I thought I'd leave it running while I detailed this afternoon. The photos were shot at 10 second intervals, over about an hour and a half, and then it combines them into a video - pretty neat! I then did a master edit in iMovie. Not the quality I was hoping for, sadly it doesn't do a higher resolution, but not bad on an iPhone 4

Whaddya think?!

It's Benny Hill doing detailing!! Aren't you meant to be chasing some nurses around a tree at some point in the proceedings?

Seriously - top effort! The GTV looks great

the only problem with doing your car well is that; you only need to do it every six months, so you have to start doing all ya friends cars, to get your detailing fix.

Due to the strict controls on AO I had to cut this scene. It's really weird, just started timelapsing and all these attractive nurses started giggling and running about

Brilliant effort.

Only thing that perturbed me somewhat was the total lack of a hosepipe. You seemed to dive straight in with the bucket and washmit. This can cause terrible swirls.

I normally go with the pressure washer to blast off any crud before slapping on the mitt, but I did not know I could be causing swirls this way! Lucky she was quite clean to begin with

TBH even if I've added a couple you wouldn't notice - the previous owners have swirled the hell out of her

“Burn the GTV,” the mechanic says, “and wipe your *** with the Brera. This way at least, Alfa would know our names.”
