Wheel arch 'carpets'

Whats the best way to clean them? They're always covered in bits of grass and crap!

I would think a stiff brush would get most of the crud off.

If dry, a hoover works well (the nozzel on the end of the hose). Black spray paint gets 'em like new again, if concours is your bag

Jet wash 'um! I used to pressure wash the car but the 156 started to lose paint so I hand wash the body but the washer will bring up the arch liners fine

Cool cheers guys. SR, did you remove them first before spraying them? I assume you did, just wondered if that's an easy job?

You can do them on the car, just mask of everything that you do not want black

If you don't want to take the wheels off

1. Blast with Karcher or some other pressure washer

2. Get a radiator brush. Put some electrical tape around the metal bit of the brush to avoid damaging paintwork

3. When liners are wet spray Autoglym engine & machine cleaner

4. Agitate with brush

5. Rinse off - bellissimo!
