New replies to your posts

On other forums I have used, there is an option to search for new replies to your posts each time you log on. Here at AO we only have an option to search for new posts, thus meaning if you don't log on for hours you have pages and pages of posts to look thru.

Would it be possible to ad a new new tab in the new posts drop down, called replies to my posts, which would flag up any replies to something you posted earlier?

When I reply my settings automatically subscribe me to the thread, so to view new replies to my posts I click on the 'profile' tab and then 'User Control Panel' and a list of my subscribed threads appear, with the ones with replies at the top.

I've thought about this for a while. It would seem to be a useful addition, if possible.

What I currently do is have a bookmark to my posts saved so that if I want to quickly see if my posts have been replied to I can use that. Your link would be; http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/searc...nduser&u=17128

I have to agree.

I have missed loads of replies to posts and only found them when going through my profile
A post replies box would be very nice.

And I do this every day, several times - no probs

All i do is bookmark the 'subscribed threads' page then simply click the bookmark. Then im also set up to auto log on so all i do is click the bookmark and im automaticly taken to the page.....Easy

There is a simple answer to this. Click your username and then click on find all posts, when you then see the posts listed there is an envelope on the top left of each post listed. Closed envelope, means noone has posted since you last looked at the thread, open envelope, someone has replied
