Why aren't we allowed to EDIT thread titles?

.....I've always wondered about this.

I know we can put in a request....but it would be far easier to EDIT ones own thread title if there are...ahem.....spelling issues and the like.

I thought it could be done by clicking on go advanced when you have gone to the edit post screen, No? Or is that me talking rubbish?

You can, Sparky!

Click edit, then click it again and you can edit the title of your thread as well as your first post
