similar to Pistonheads search for cars by map like this?

We've got one in the 916 section but pins are only for dealers etc. The owners have circled an area in which they are likely to be spotted.

I don't get the "removed due to privacy concerns" thing, though I remember the matter arising and that's my recollection of it too DavidP.

If somebody doesn't wish to reveal thei exact location for any reason, then the solution is quite simple - don't make mark yourself on a map! That shoudn't stop others who want to mark their positions.

We believe we have a moral duty of care towards our members, so when we discovered that a disgruntled member that previously had problems with another member turned up at their front door, we decided that any benefits gained by using the map were out weighed by our concerns, this is why we removed the map.
