Lack of contextual continuity

There's been a few times when I've started reading a thread and then got to the bottom of the page and read the last post, after which appears the box to type your own 2p worth in.

However, often there are further pages of posts which I sometimes overlook. This means that I sometimes accidentally post a reply to a post from a while back after the whole discussion has moved on and it comes up after all the other posts I've missed.

Now I'm sorry if anyone's thinking that that's my fault for being a doddery old twerp who really should pay more attention to what he's doing, but is it my fault my secretary is sncking me off under the desk? No, therefore might I suggest, should it be practical, that the reply box is only added to the last page of a thread.

Thumbs Up Re: Lack of contextual continuity

I do that quite a lot as well, so, I think it's a jolly good idea. Either that or show the other page numbers at the bottom of the page (above the reply box) as well as at the top

If the first bit is true, which it would appear to be, why would your sec be sucking you off?

I respond to posts late because I don't pay attention to howmay pages there may be to a thread! See what happens when people go off topic

Re: Lack of contextual continuity

Well, i cant understand why we would need to remove the whole box when you simply look just above the reply box on the right, to check for more pages?

Try it!

That's just the point, it's easy to forget. Though I dare say after starting this post I'll remember now.
