Idea Suggestion: Dealer/Servicing Directory

Do you think it would be sensible to have a specific section of this site to list, review and rate Alfa-specialist dealers and workshops? I'm only a newbie here but I can see this q asked virtually every day and it would be great to have one place to find these, split by geography.

The cambelt-change cost and the servicing costs seem to vary so much but without hearing real-life experiences it is impossible to make useful comparisons?

Re: Suggestion: Dealer/Servicing Directory

I just suggested this in another area. I think it would be a good idea. The more people that would 'vote' for a dealer/workshop could give a reliable picture on service and prices.

Re: Suggestion: Dealer/Servicing Directory

Excellent idea, my local Coydon Alfa main dealer wanted to charge me over £300 to replace the lambda sensor, needless to say I didn't get the work done there! Anyone know of any good Alfa specalists in the Croydon/South London area?

Re: Suggestion: Dealer/Servicing Directory

Idea I had was a seperate website which would have the approriate functions to show it well instead of just comments.

Things that should be visible is full details of garage/dealer/Workshop, work that needs to be done as in service or repair of common parts. Furthermore possibilities of giving characters on service, friendlyness, how easy it is to get an appointment
