Hmmm Where are the graemlins - Resolved

I can only see the ones used to mark the thread, but not the ones to be included within the reply... I now must type in each and everyone I want to include as I can't click on them anymore... Where did the window that contained them go??

Nope, but I was thinking about how that part of tha page is displayed. Could it be considered as a pop-up window or as advertisement?? Maybe my Internet Security is messing with it...

Re: Where are the graemlins??

Try this...

Usercp> Options, scroll to the bottom of the page, select or re-select from the message editor interface the "Standard Editor - c/w extra formatting tools" and than SAVE

Screen shot would be great if this doesnt cure it, but I am sure it will.

Re: Where are the graemlins??

I'm using the default pop up blocker and get no alerts. I'm pretty sure it isn't because of that or it being recognised as any advert BTW do you see the post smilies, ie the ones attached to the title

EDIT: Yep look stooopid now now that Ian got in there with his more informed post

That fixed it!

Thanks Ian.

I think it changed when I tried out the new Gray skin. As you may have noticed, I still like the Classic one more...

Yes, they were good, but at first I thought they had to do something with programming, so you can understand my confusion...

Re: Where are the graemlins??

Ooooh, a contentious issue.

I don't think the smilies should be visible on quick reply. Makes it less 'quick'.

I visited a forum that used the same structure as AO, and it didn't have graemlins when you quick replied, you had to type them in, as it is now here.

So Kurt, start typin'!!

Re: Where are the graemlins??

I can add them, but it is a quick reply, normal reply has them on, if I add smilies I may as well add attachments and remove the reply button!

Ill see if I can add smilies to a drop down, that way its much more tidy.

If you add the drop down thingy, can you make it so they do it backwards, I'm pretty sure Kurt would be really happy with that. Right Kurt??
