Re: profile.php

Unsure about this specific problem, but several were solved with this:

Try running a full cleanup with CCleaner with ALL browser windows closed:

www.ccleaner.com

Download and install the program.

Start it and under the "Cleaner" section select/tick all options listed and then click the "Run Cleaner" button.

Restart the PC when finished and test.

You will have to login again, but that should solve the problem (TIF and cookie cleanup).

Re: profile.php

Do you face the same error using IE?

Guessing you won't, suggest you uninstall Firefox, cleanup and reinstall it.

Uninstall through Add/Remove Programs and reboot.

Then delete the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla

Reboot.

Download and reinstall Firefox.

Be aware that you will lose ALL Firefox settings, profiles, bookmarks, etc.

Good luck,

Zee

Re: profile.php

The error can occur on IE (happened to me Monday evening), Safari (happened to PaulR yesterday) and Firefox (see first post in this thread).

We are working on it. We know what happens, we have an idea what causes it. We just have to find the exact location in the code to fix the problem.

Uninstalling and re-installing your browser is not needed. The worst thing that can happen is that you have to clear the ao cookies after we fixed the problem

Re: profile.php

We hadn't found time yet as we are working on something else at the moment. But the issue is still on the To Do list

You should have no errors when you enter our forum using this link: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/
