Damn things, seems to be on the right hand bank of the mega cache, the blocking phase quadram mechanism appears to be crystalising, any ideas what it could be?

Maybe you need to check the settings on the flux-capacitor or even renew the di-lithium crystals.

Computers are like cars.

If they don't work correctly, open all the windows shut all the windows. Turn it off, turn it back on. This will probably fix it.

Well, its very weird actually, my Mozilla is very fast at serving pages when my IE is very slow at the same time, so now I am blaming IE!!!

I once booted my PC in Internet Rage. The hard drive then failed and I lost everything, including some pics of my (baby at the time) son that I hadn't burned to CD yet

Yep. My IE is really slow compared to my Mozzilla Firefox which loads the pages instantly. I've removed IE from my system now as I'm not gonna use it again in a hurry.............

OK, IE is poo, with some cheesy wotsits stuck to it! Or are they BBQ?

BTW - Anyone know where I can purchase some Roast Beef Monster Munch?

Re: Needed to reboot the server

Ian,
IE completes page rendering when it has received all of the HTML from the server.
Mozila and FF build the page dynamically on receipt of the code, and seems faster. In most cases this is a better approach.

Cheers for the info, any one else having severe loading issues when loading AO and other sites using Internet Explorer?

Re: Needed to reboot the server

Ian,

IE is just ticking along fine for me -- except on AO, where it is painstakingly slow. It was so bad that I downloaded Foxfire, which has issues of its own here.

In case you need to know, I'm running Internet Explorer Version 6.0.2800.1106 on Win 98.
