Fixed...

Hey all

Long time no speak. I've been really busy with other work and college and stuff, sorry I haven't been around to Fix the style.

However, I'm here now and I've been working like a [insert word here] for the last few hours to fix it and I think I've fixed all bugs.

IE - No bugs reported
Mozilla FireFox, the browser formerly known as FireBird - No bugs reported
Mozilla - Problems rendering with header and postbits. This problem has now been resolved, the page will load correctly (as it should) without being thrown out of whack.
Note: It COULD happen again at irregular intervals, this is no longer my fault but how Mozilla is rendering huge amounts of HTML. I've tried my best to fix this, and I've done all I can on this. To fix it, just click the Refresh button.

Members Not being able to login - Just waiting to see Ian online to get some info off him on that one, then hopefully I can resolve this bug too.

I'm not aware of any more bugs with the style, so if that's all exit, stage left.

Regards

Re: Fixed...

Hey all

Ok, noticed another bug with the design. *Duh*. Anyway, that's been fixed too. Now there should be ZERO bugs in all browsers; IE 6, Mozilla, Mozilla FireFox (formerly known as FireBird).

Re: Fixed...

Hi Azazel,

Nice to see you around again And thanks for your hard work I think we all appreciate it

Just, Iím having a little problem, when I post on the quick reply, they page redirects me to another page where it says: invalid Thread specified. If you followed an invalid link please notify webmaster.

So, here's the deal:

The thread I was using for testing the error is SEX on the Way off topic thread, but that's not the only thread where the error appears.

This is the info I can give you:

System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 1

Iím using microsoft internet explorer version 6.0.2800.1106.x9s92.030422-1633

Clipher strenght 128 bit

The error doesnít always appear. And itís when I use the quick reply button. And itís since I changed the skin to AO classic.

I hope this helps.

And I want to know if I'm the only one?

Thanks

Re: Fixed...

Hi, you say this happens under the AO Classic skin? (which isn't the dark one...)

I didn't create this skin so you'd have to speak to Ian about it, however I will have a quick look through the problem for you.

I've e-mailed to Ian about this, and this was his answer:

We have failed to reproduce this error using the parameters you mentioned, unfortunately, unless we can duplicate the error, we cannot fix it. I will keep trying from time to time, I am very sorry but I donít know how to tackle this.
Thanks if you can do something about it As I say, it doesn't matter much as it is not every time I post, so if you can't fix it, don't worry

Thanks anyway,

And, nice to have you around

What I want to know, if, this only happens to me ???

Re: Fixed...

Hi Azazel, we seem to have a problem, ill just list it here for now:

The vehicle that we drive is no longer displayed under the user Avatar in AO Modern/Dark
Also the "Which skin" image is no longer available? and the siganture text has changed to a big style? Any ideas why?

Thanks

Your problem should be fixed now, if not then as Ian said there's not much more I can do. Sorry.

Actually Hans, I quite like the text now, its easier to see who has what skin without hovering, however, its looking a bit crowded under the name and avatar. shall we move the post, location etc... text, as we have got in the AO Classic?

I like the icons for selected skin, the default looks nearly the same as the modern skin, but doesn't matter imho since they are actually the same skin.

And I believe the icons are subtile as well.

We don't have to move the items from under the avatar to the location under the actual reply. I like the classy buttons that are there now.
