Thumbs Up New forum kicks ass!

It takes a while to get use too, but once you discover all the features this new forum has, it really rules!
I especially like the integration of things, like the chatroom, the uploading of images onto the server instead of public photoservers, the thumbnail view feature, the option to hide lounges you never visit.. also the text format box is
to all who have problems adapting just work out all the new things first.. I'm sure you'll like it

Currently feel like there is a death in the family.
Even the Graemlins are rather tacky

I especially like the way that if you hover over a topic in the top topics page, it tells you the text from it, so much easier to tell if it's something you've already read.

When creating a new thread, or posting a reply you have the option to add images and other files to your post. This is BELOW the text input area and it's in the Additional Options a button labelled "Manage Attachments".

This is your old pic, you need to resize it to 64x64 pixels and save it to your hard disk. You can then upload it to the alfaowner space to show as your avatar.

Not at the moment, no. I'm sure when things have settled down this can be fixed.

The reason we disallowed it was because large images will break the design and thus make things look ugly!

Because it's felt that anything under 10 characters is or can be regarded as spam, so it's a 10 characters minimum to a) improve posting and b) create more of a discussion for any one post.

SO no more comedy one word posts?
like 'eh?'
That's always a good one.
I'd have to put 'eeeeeeeeh?', or 'eh, eh, eh?'
And then I'd sound all scouse.
