MiTo Space Invaders
Brick lane, London E1 hosted a giant game of MiTo Space Invaders recently, read official press release below:
Alfa Romeo will beam a huge space invaders projection onto the side of the Truman Breweries in Brick Lane, London on Friday and Saturday (12th and 13th Feb) night in an interactive gaming first for the UK.
Members of the public will be able to use the latest technology to test their skills against the intergalactic enemy as part of the launch for the advanced new MiTo MultiAir models – the person with the highest score at the end of each evening will win an iPod Touch. This activity coincides with the new MiTo MultiAir Space Invaders TV campaign which airs for the first time on Friday (12th Feb)
The new MiTo MultiAir range boasts a substantial increase in fuel efficiency and a significant decrease in CO2 emissions, so just like the accompanying TV advert, the public will use an Alfa MiTo to skilfully destroy the ‘invaders’ – which are represented as fuel pumps and toxic barrels – with lasers fired from the MiTo’s headlights.
The giant game, which is operated by using a 42” High Definition touch screen, will be the first interactive UK gaming projection powered by AdTable, the interactive technology exclusive to Projection Advertising, which runs the technical aspect of the project.
The MultiAir Space Invaders tour starts in Brick Lane before setting off for a further six cities (Glasgow – 19 Feb, Birmingham – 26 Feb, Newcastle – 5 March, Cardiff – 12 March, Manchester 19 March, Leeds – 26 March ). The projection will take place between 4pm-10pm in all locations.
UPDATED Cardiff – 12 March has now been cancelled due to permits issues however we hope to see it rescheduled soon
