attaching pictures via my mac

why can't i add any thumbnails onto my post? am idoing it wrong or what? i want to post some pics of my previous cars in another post but it won't let me. please, someone help!!!

We need more details.

The photos cannot be too large otherwise the system won't upload them. When you click on the attachment button (the clip) you get a pop up menu that will tell you max file sizes.

Best thing to do is to upload those photos on free image hosting websites (such as photobucket) and then post the photos in here via the [IMG] function. Note, this function is available only in the Just Images lounge.

the max size says 100.0
my jpg images are around 800. seems a big difference. will try later on. wanted to show some pictures of my previous cars and current ones in a thread what's going on. thanks anyway...rob

Rob. Stick the photos in iPhoto and then email them. Drag images from email onto desktop, should be resized. Or open in preview and under file menu do save as, this gives you a menu with a quality slider, use this to create an image >100. Good luck.
