i'm in prestwich ...apparently a hot spot according to the plod as they say there's lots of decent motors round here...and a few undesirable areas not too far away.

Wow, great news.

Awful that you had to go through the trauma in the first place though!

Re: GT Car-jacked!

I am really pleased you got your car back and that you're not badly hurt - physically or mentally. It's reassuring to know that plod managed to do what we all hope they can. I watched a TV programme some time ago and they reckon the car squad there is the top one in the country.

Re: GT Car-jacked!

Don't go singing too many praises andy, they haven't caught the thieves yet! Easy enough to find a car if you have the resources i.e. cctv.

Very glad to see that things have turned around for you, just keep an eye out on cars following you etc now.

Re: GT Car-jacked!

Thats great news! As Gaz said, was about to post saying how gutted I was to hear this but looks like things have turned around. It's really frustrating that there are actually people out there that have no decency about them whatsoever.

I had my very first car stolen and burnt out and it wasn't even a nice car

Hope they manage to find something to find the culprits

the car usually attracts attention for all the right reasons ...and now i'm going to
Its **** when this kind of thing happens. I bet they were scrawnie junkie lowlifes that if forwarned you could've taken out on your own. It destroys your self confidence.

TBH, I'm 6'7'' and a scrawny 15 year old teen could take me out if they crept up behind me with a bat. easy.

Cowards.

Should have kicked them in the nuts! Glad you got sorted in the end though and get your dam cambelt done else you might wish that you hadnt got her back

A good result for a change but seems like you'd better get the vacuum cleaner and polish ready !

Re: GT Car-jacked!

Really glad you might not have lost out too much on this one. It must be a bit of a relief to get your Bella back. I guess you are going to need a full new set of keys though-hope it's not too costly

Re: GT Car-jacked!

B A S T A R D O 'S . Glad you are ok. I dread that happening to mine especially if my wife is around. I do have a shot gun (Legal) thouigh so i recon a quick glimpse of that (If I had time to get it) would probably make them choose to leave the car . I had a golf GTI stolen once, believe me your better off not getting it back.
