Custom Smilies

Any chance of being allowed a few more? 6 (or 9 ) would be nice, and it would eliminate that weird grey space in the 'smilies' box when you're writing a post out..

Cheers!

Re: Custom Smilies

I think 5 is ok, but we need to give them more "size" as most custom smileys get squashed when uploaded.

Re: Custom Smilies

The reason they are sized the way they are, is to make the lines of text not vary in space between lines, AFAIK or think...

Imagine

blah blah blah blah [big smiley]

blah blah blah blah [normal smiley]
blah blah blah blah

line 1 and 2 appear like a paragraph break because, of ENLARGED smiley

Re: Custom Smilies

Fair point, but there are standard smileys that are larger than standard text lines.

[SPACE]
Eg:
Longer yes, but there is a space between those lines, and that WOW thing doesn't make a difference AFAIK, apart from the smiley listings, I think

EDIT... actually, you are right! Dump that WOW smiley and the lovey one too!

What He Said !!

And also... would they be a way of getting them to post up at a decent size once we've loaded them as some can be very small ... as discussed elsewhere yesterday !!

Re: Custom Smilies

I actually discussed the size of the smileys with Ian previously and it may not be very easy to extend it

Re: Custom Smilies

Try here Alfie: Smileys & Emoticons Repository

Then, when you find one you like, save the smiley by right clicking on your mouse whilst hovering over the smiley.

You can then upload it on your AO profile here: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/mysmiliesvb.php
